Brand Story
Brand Story
The brand was created in the 1930s. On the outside of the lids of its tins is a very curious text, written in English. This text states that the Habanos in the tin should be smoked within a month of being shipped from the port of Havana (at the time Habanos travelled by sea), otherwise it was preferable to leave them to age carefully for a year.
Its vitolas, made from leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, are characterised by their lightness.
Description
Description
The Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas pampers the smoker with a creamy, slightly sweet smoke. During the smoking experience, pronounced notes of leather and earth can be detected. The Petit Coronas is made as a long filler using tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo growing region. As with the other Rafael Gonzalez formats, the blend is very mild, making this cigar suitable for both seasoned smokers and beginners.
One special feature is the box, which still carries the inscription stating that the cigars should be smoked within a month of being shipped from Havana. Otherwise, they should only be enjoyed after a year of aging.
