The brand was created in the 1930s. On the outside of the lids of its boxes, there is a very curious text written in English. This text claims that the Habanos inside should be smoked within a month of being shipped from the port of Havana (at a time when Habanos traveled by sea), or else it was better to let them age carefully for a year.

Its vitolas, made from leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, are distinguished by their lightness.
