In the Vuelta Abajo, it is a tradition for vegueros (tobacco farmers) to roll their own cigars.
Everyone who visited this region of the Pinar del Río province felt a desire to taste these cigars, made right where the world’s finest tobacco is grown.
Thus, in 1996, a brand named Vegueros was launched, as a tribute to the countless generations of farmers in the Pinar del Río region who have dedicated their lives to tobacco.
