Collection: Fonseca

Founded in 1891 by Francisco Fonseca, the brand was originally produced in a small factory on Dragones Street in Havana. It was even celebrated by the poet Federico García Lorca, who wrote: “I will go to Santiago with the blond head of a Fonseca…” Francisco Fonseca introduced the unique presentation of wrapping each cigar in a fine sheet of Japanese paper. He also came up with the idea of creating a tasting room in his factory where clients could test the selected blends. Fonseca also specialized in producing cigars for banquets, receptions, clubs, and similar events.
