Brand Story
Brand Story
From its creation in 1884 until the early 1960s, La Flor de Cano seems to have remained a small family business. La Flor de Cano is a brand that dates back to before the Cuban revolution, registered by brothers Tomás and José Cano. It took more than 50 years for the brand to be entered in the register of exporting manufacturers, in 1940, under the name ‘Juan Cano Sainz’. Production does not appear to have increased significantly, and has instead dwindled over the years, with only two cigars available today. Previously, the brand's catalogue offered no fewer than 10 different cigars, all of which have now sadly disappeared. La Flor de Cano cigars have always had a reputation for being smooth and refreshing, with floral and herbal aromas.
